At the intersection of technology, entertainment, and venture capital, Mariah Lichtenstern addresses social, economic, and environmental equity through entrepreneurship. A multi-faceted "connector," Mariah works with amazing people she feels incredibly fortunate to know and strives to build bridges between those with privilege and those with valuable but under-utilized perspectives.
To showcase and capitalize on diverse perspectives, she co-founded DiverseCity Ventures and CINESHARES.club to empower founders and filmmakers of all backgrounds. She has a special interest in fostering the inclusion of those underrepresented by virtue of "otherness," including gender, culture, geography, and socio-economic status.
The Managing Director of Founder Institute, Sacramento, Mariah is also a frequent speaker, mentor, and judge. She serves on the Tech Advisory Committee for CleanTech Fund, CalSEED, Berkeley Skydeck, Village Capital Finteck Forward 2019, and is a member of UCLA Ventures. She's an alumna of UC Berkeley, USC, and UCLA.
